I am currently enrolled in a Prose Workshop at NKU, and have work-shopped 3 early episodes of Scurvytown. I love the feedback I got from people, and look forward to improving my existing content, which is one of the things that is holding me back from posting new episodes. *slaps own hand*
First thoughts: pacing needs to slow down. I think in my Nabokov level exuberance is where it needs to be, but the details are lacking so much that it inhibits the understanding of the world where Scurvytown belongs, as well as the characters who reside therein.
This means: more episodes in between the early episodes, which is something I have long-suspected.
