With all the internet chatter about the reboot of the DC comics realm, it occurred to me that I could consider the rewrites and revisions of my pet project a reboot as well. After all, I have learned so much in the past few weeks about pulling a story apart and putting it back together, I might as well consider my entire revision process a reboot.
This is experimental fiction, and it was supposed to be fun. It stopped being fun awhile ago, and I need to get that sense of writing like a mad scientist back.
I think I am finally getting to the point where I can bargain my way out of the lonely writing trenches and back into producing any sort of content at all. It is so easy to let minor setbacks in, and so hard to trade them in for productivity, but I think I have found my way to do it.
